Wallingford WI meets at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of every month at Ridgeway Community Church (entrance on Wood Street).
You don't have to be a member to come along, our meetings are open to all women. If you would like to join us for a meeting, we'd appreciate a voluntary donation of £5 for non-members.
Have a look at our programme to see details of upcoming meetings.
In addition to our monthly meetings, Wallingford WI members can also join in with:
Our book group meetings monthly on a Wednesday evening in a member's house or garden to discuss a chosen book.
We mostly read fiction and we have even read a novel written by one of our members! Have a look at the most recent newsletter to see what we're reading this month.
Our walking group meets regularly to enjoy a gentle walk. Our walks usually end at a cafe where we can enjoy some restorative coffee and cake.
We have recently enjoyed walks around historic Oxford, the Wittenham Clumps, the Thames Path, Ewelme and much more.
Our Knit and Natter group meets monthly on a weekday evening. Members bring knitting, crochet or sewing projects with them and we help each other if we get stuck.
As well as this, there's plenty of time for tea, biscuits and chatting!
We also arrange regular daytime and evening get-togethers.
Depending on the time of year this can include:
Meeting for coffee and cake in a Wallingford cafe
A trip to the theatre or cinema
A meal out
